The opening of our second restaurant – Dinesty Vancouver Robson – brought along the introduction of our new shrimp & pork pot sticker, an irresistible shrimp-and-pork-filled dumpling that is steamed on one side and pan-fried on the other. The Chinese have been enjoying pot stickers since the Song dynasty (960 – 1280 A.D.), making it one of the most ancient Chinese delicacies that is still popular today.

Thanks to our meticulous cooking process, the top side of the pot sticker is tender and chewy while the bottom exhibits a golden-brown color and crispy texture. The lightly sweet taste of the wrapping and the refreshing flavors of the shrimp-and-pork filling resonate with the polarizing textures of the skin, creating a delicately balanced taste and mouth feel. Another unique feature of our shrimp & pork pot sticker is its ultra-thin “golden pan-fried dough platter” which is lightly sweet and super crispy.
